As the holiday season approaches in full swing, Trader Joe’s holiday products can be a cheerful and delicious way to celebrate the festivities. Blueprint tried a variety of Trader Joe’s winter treats from the “Merry Making” section and gave them a rating out of 5 snowflakes, with 1 being the lowest and 5 the highest.
1. Pasta Festiva (Red and green cheese and pesto ravioli)

A new holiday item at Trader Joes this year, the Pasta Festiva includes delicious red and green ravioli, getting their festive colors from tomato and spinach power. These ravioli contain pesto and ricotta cheese cloaked in extremely thin pasta sheets, which gives the ravioli a pleasant texture. The richness of the pesto and the creaminess of the ricotta make for a delightful savory bite, and a flavorful yet light dish. They also prepare extremely easily over the stove making them a convenient holiday treat, and taste good with tomato-based sauces or just olive oil and Parmesan cheese on top. Overall, the Pasta Festiva are a delicious way to celebrate the holidays with savory flavors.

There is nothing like crunching on one of these cookies with milk while sitting by a fireplace with your family. The sweet chocolate and the crunch of the cookies mixed with the peppermint evoke a jolly spirit in one's stomach. The cookies are the regular Joe Joe’s with a chocolate covering and peppermint sprinkles on top. These holiday delights are the quintessential holiday treat from Trader Joe's.
