With mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie in hand, the senior class gathered to celebrate Thanksgiving and create lasting holiday memories. On Nov. 12, leadership hosted a Friendsgiving with food and drinks, where all the seniors sat together on long tables and enjoyed quality time together.

The event gave students a chance to connect, share conversations, and bond with peers.

“I like spending time with my friends and getting to be together as a grade,” senior Siena LaRotunda said.

The meal helped bring students together, fostering a newfound appreciation for their classmates.

“It's bringing people together and it's showing up for each other,” senior Quinn Chiappetta said. “We are there for the sake of community and for the sake of each other and I think that's super sweet.”

The spread consisted of different foods, including salad, turkey, gravy, stuffing, and mashed potatoes. Students got an opportunity to reflect on what they were most grateful of most this year.

“The things I'm most thankful for are my friends and family and everyone around me who supports me,” senior Molly Aldrich said.

Thanksgiving and Friendsgiving bring people together, creating memorable moments and lasting bonds while sharing appreciation for others.

“[The two holidays] are special to me because it’s a time where everyone can get together and appreciate our friendships and our good time spent together,” Aldrich said.
